Mrs. Keenan's
Grace
I met Jeannie and Margaret in the park about three weeks ago and we have since become great friends. They, among others have been incredible evidences of God's kindness to me over the past month. Jeannie and her husband Jesse, along with sweet Margaret Joy, live on the hill along with others at Capitol Hill Baptist. The day after I met Jeannie, I was babysitting and subbing at Capitol Hill Learning Group (as mentioned in a previous post). I also stayed in their home the second weekend of my stay in D.C. and am now house-sitting for their next door neighbor : ). My busy days of childcare, aka, temporary employment are entirely due to this divine meeting three weeks ago in the park.
Business Professional
I had my second interview today with Koch! (see previous post for link). The interview seemed to go well. There are two possible positions: Office Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. I'm so glad I decided to buy this suit several months ago. Today, it made it's third D.C. appearance. Praising God for these opportunities. Oh, and this is me standing in Mrs. Keenan's patio garden.

You may notice that Koch Industries is located in Kansas, but the position is for their office in D.C.

Update Day (?) 2ish Weeks Later, Maybe?
Yes, I'm still here.
This week I am job searching and babysitting.
For the morning, I have been at Ebenezers with Suzanne, catching up on email and working on my resume.
