Basil
Close herb "friends" and the rosemary outcast blurred in the background. He needs room to spread out :).
And our outdoor table and chairs thanks to the landlord and his wife :).

Day 5: Emily and Ev Yemekleri

After playing at the park with the little girls, Emily and I took a mini-bus to the water, found Ev Yemekleri (homecooked food) and did some shopping.

Kuru Fasulye (white beans and rice). Oh, how I miss this.

Cay (tea) and...Doghnut holes?

Day 4: Part 2-After school, Cone Heads, and Basketball

Photos on the front stoop after picking up E and O from school.

An old favorite pasttime of me and E-making cone heads

Watching O play basketball-he has a constant game going on in his head.

I savored every moment of this day with Little Miss M and these dear friends. M and I even stayed for Baked Ziti and dancing to the Nacho Libre soundtrack :).

Day 4: Part 1-Special time with Miss M

Napping (resting) in Emma's room under her special princess net.

Little Miss M and I had a special day together while her parents were out doing touristy things with Mark and Katie. We played with some other friends, went to the park, and then picked up the youngest ones from school with their mom.

Day 3: Finally there.

So excited about breakfast. Love this girl.

My traveling buddies and dear friends.

On our first morning, Mark and Katie took us to a restaurant with a great view of the city and a delicious breakfast. After returning to their apartment and resting for the afternoon, they had a friend come over and cook an authentic meal for us. It was probably our best meal of the week!

Day 2: And we're still traveling

Making our way via Munich, Germany. Little Miss M taking a movie break.

Kiddieland: genious idea.

J's husband, and happy camper with beer and brats.

Curious George on her mom's iphone.

Day 1: Transatlantic Traveling with a 3 Year Old

Little Miss M waiting to board her first flight over the Atlantic with her juice (water) and jammies. We were actually all in our jammies, with the exception of her father.

Getting excited about dried fruit and nuts and other airplane snacks.

Practicing with her new neck pillow.

Just plain excited.
